The 1.8m silicone cable is designed to minimize handling noise even when threaded beneath tight-fitting outfits. Microdot adapters from Deity Microphones allow you to adapt the W.Lav Pro to Sennheiser Locking 3.5mm, Sony UWP 3.5mm, Lectrosonics TA5F, Shure TA4F, various Lemo transmitters and Deity Connect.

The W.Lav Micro is designed to compete with the smallest lavaliers on the market. Now that 4K/6K/8K video is the norm, being able to hide a lavalier from all those peeping pixels is more important than ever. The Micro can be easily hidden on almost any outfit.

Even though the W.Lav Micro cable is a mere 1.2mm thick, its breaking strength is an astounding 43 pounds. This is achieved by weaving synthetic polymers around the inner wires of the cable. The outer jacket is made of silicone in order to help prevent cable noise from being transmitted to the mic.

Many newer digital wireless systems incidentally wreak havoc on traditional lavaliers due to the RF interference inherent to the new modulation method. This prompts users to be wary of which lavs they can use with which systems. The W.Lav Micro was designed from the beginning to work flawlessly in conjunction with these systems thanks to the extra shielding inside its cable.
