The AD226-MB is a 2-IN and 2x6 OUT active antenna distribution system Digitally Tuned Variable Frequency with custom tuned bandwidths in the frequency range 470-832MHz offering the user selectable semi-broad band filtering options to suit any receiving systems available. The AD226-MB eliminates multiple receiver antennas and provides a tidy sound bag solution with improved RF performance.
Advanced filtering design cleans up dirty RF within the operating bandwidth before feeding into the Diversity Receivers this is important in crowded radio frequency spectrum to protect the receivers from unwanted RF signals.
The AD226-MB is a custom designed Antenna Distribution (AD) system offers the solution to the antenna and dc power distribution requirements for portable sound bag applications. Designed for where the weight and size matters without sacrificing on performance.
The antenna inputs are BNC connectors which enables use of standard low loss RF coaxial extension cables, and the outputs are 2x6 mini-RF SMA connectors feeding the diversity receivers.
In applications when remote active antenna powering is needed the AD offers switchable Active Antenna Powering with RED LEDs indicating power ON/OFF status, the Active Antenna Powering can be turned ON/OFF through the high visibility large display menu.
The AD226-MB has an extremely high input signal handling capacity with exceptionally low noise figure and offers an outstanding inter-modulation performance when compared to other low power devices available.
The tuning bandwidth is custom tuned with a semi broadband response to suit varying applications, the system RF gain is user adjustable in 1dB steps between +6dB to -10dB, the AD226-MB is compatible with full-digital, digital-hybrid and analogue radio microphone receivers available in the industry.
The AD unit is externally powered between 10-18Vdc, the dc input connector is an industry standard 4-pin Hirose and there are 6xHirose dc output connectors available for powering auxiliary equipment. Each dc output port can be individually turned ON/OFF through the display menu. The inbuilt Voltmeter continuously displays dc input voltage status.
