ZAXCOM summer sale bundle 3
Zaxcom Bundle incl. 1x Nova2 16-channel audio recorder + 1x MRX414 4-channel receiver module + 4x ZMT4 or 4x TRXLA5 bodypack transmitters
NOVA2:
Nova 2 is an updated version of Zaxcom's Nova complete sound solution. Nova 2 is a mixer, a recorder, ZaxNet remote control and has two built-in wireless receiver slots, all in one compact and lightweight device. Fully loaded with 2 slot-in receivers Nova 2 can receive up to 8 transmitter signals, weighs less than 2 kg, and is the smallest, neatest, most complete portable sound package on the market.
The Nova 2 has 16 digital inputs that can be used either with or without the internal receivers. You can use either 16 x external AES digital inputs (8 pairs) or 8 x external AES digital inputs (4 pair) and the 8 x internal AES inputs via the built-in receiver slots. When you're using the internal receivers you can output them as AES direct outputs from the Nova 2. The external AES sample rate converting inputs can be used to connect 2 x AES42 microphones or to connect to any external wireless receivers. On the analog side, Nova 2 features 4 XLR mic/line NeverClip inputs with 48V phantom power and 2 x line level balanced inputs. Nova 2 has 8 output busses plus the headphone output.
MRX414:
The MRX414 is a hot swappable module receiver designed for use in the Nova mixer/recorder, RX-4, RX-8, RX-12 and RX-12R. The UHF diversity receiver utilizes the High Q tunable tracking front end filter within it's host device to combat interference and extend range. The module is compatible with any Zaxcom digital recording wireless transmitter and with all current Zaxcom modulations (Mono, Stereo, XR and ZHD96). Let's break down the name: M (module) RX (receiver) 4 (four transmitters) 1 (for no reason) 4 (up to 4 channels of audio).
Part of Zaxcom's 4th generation of digital wireless receiver technology the MRX414 sets the standard for RF performance. The ultra-low noise floor (-135 dB) RF design will provide ultra-long range. The MRX is almost impossible to overload. Close distance transmitters have virtually no effect on the reception of distant transmitters. The RF performance exceeds the previous generation of Zaxcom receivers by 5 dB while enhancing the rejection of interfering signals from things like walkie talkies, cell phones and HD Television transmission by 10 dB. The MRX414 is an extremely efficient digital wireless receiver, the module draws 300 mA @ 13 VDC (150 mA per receiver).
ZMT4:
The ZMT4 can be positioned at the top of a boom pole directly behind the microphone instead of near the bottom. By removing the internal or external cable, operators can eliminate cable noise that can affect the audio track. Boom microphone connectivity is via a 3-pin balanced Lemo.
The ZMT4 transmits using 100% digital modulation allowing audio to be fully encrypted. Digital encryption is the only way to keep all audio transmission private. A digital transmission also provides audio quality superior to analog systems.
TRXLA5:
The TRXLA5 is a wide-band bodypack transmitter that runs on two AA batteries. It's lightweight and durable, housed in a high-strength, impact-resistant nylon polymer casing. This transmitter design has remained popular because of the convenience of AA batteries and the 100 mW power output. The TRXLA5 is has a 512 to 698 MHz frequency range and supports 5 Volt microphones.
